2 or > 2 PC connected to streamyx @ automatically connected to streamyx Billion BiPAC5112S

Having trouble connecting 2 or more PCs to streamyx?? Wanna make your streamyx automatically connected each time you switch on your PC?? Well, this is what I did that enables me to use 2 PCs connected to 1 streamyx connection. First, I am using a modem (Billion BiPAC 5112S – provided by TMNet) and a normal 4 port switch.
(When you are using Billion BiPAC 5112S, you use this ip address: 192.168.1.254)
1. Type this into your internet browser bar : http://192.168.1.254 and enter. (Don’t put the address into the search box @ don’t do google or yahoo search).
2. You will be ask to key in username and password, use this : username = admin : password = password (Make sure no “caps lock”)
3. Go to “interface setup”, click “internet” (beside LAN)
4. Look into “encapsulation”, for ISP – choose “PPPoE/PPPoA”
5. Next, look into “PPPoE/PPPoA” (under “Encapsulation”), key in your streamyx username (xxxxx@streamyx), and your streamyx password.
6. Then, for encapsulation, choose “PPPoE LLC”.
7. Next, for connection setting, choose “always on (recommended)”
8. Look into “IP address” (below connection setting), make sure you enable the “NAT”.
9. Finally, click “SAVE”.
10. Restart your PC and restart your modem.
11. Look at your Billion modem, if it’s working, your “PPP” indicator (Beside ADSL indicator) should show a stable yellow light.
12. At the same time, you don’t have to dial up to get connected to streamyx. The connection is now automatically ON.
Attention:
• If things goes wrong, don’t worry. Even without the internet connection, you can still log on into http://192.168.1.254. Go to “Maintenance”, click at “SysRestart”, choose System Restart with “Factory default setting”. Wait a few secs, and your streamyx will be back as it was before.
• If things goes wrong again, try to do the same thing, but with only 1 PC connected to the modem (Don’t use your switch). Once you get it done, you can use your switch again.
• Restart modem = Switch off and on again the Modem’s power source.
